From Concept to Reality
In the aftermath of the global financial crash of 2008, The Sustainable City was pioneered as a living blueprint for future-ready communities, a working model that demonstrates how cities can thrive in any climatic region while enabling people to live in harmony with the environment and with one another.
Today, The Sustainable City stands as a resilient, scalable, and replicable model, successfully adapted across the UAE and now expanding through a growing pipeline of projects regionally and globally. Each city carries the same DNA, while responding to
the unique context of its location. It serves as the foundation for the next generation of AI-driven, net-zero, human-centric cities, shaping how future communities will live, work, and thrive.

Our People
Faris Saeed
Founder & Chairman
Faris Saeed is committed to making a global impact through sustainable urban development. His journey began in 2003, but it was after the 2008 financial crisis that he envisioned a world where sustainability and profitability could coexist. This vision led to the creation of The Sustainable City, a groundbreaking model that reimagines urban infrastructure and serves as a proof-of-concept for the cities of the future. As Founder & Chairman of SEE Holding, Saeed is spearheading a net-zero emissions future, with a bold vision to achieve the 2050 targets today. He enables SEE Holding and its partners to design, invest in, and build inclusive societies where all sources of man-made emissions are minimized alongside operational and living costs. Saeed also deeply values the transformative power of education and is dedicated to empowering others to join him in addressing the global climate crisis, driving immediate action towards a sustainable tomorrow.
Dr. Muawieh Radaideh
Group Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Muawieh Radaideh brings over 25 years of international leadership experience in corporate management, real estate, environmental engineering, and climate action. He spent more than a decade in the United States with global firms such as URS (now AECOM) and Wood Rodgers, before serving as Middle East Director at the Danish consultancy DHI, where he provided environmental advisory services across the region. From 2017 to 2020, he led SEE Nexus (now SEE Developers), the design and engineering arm of SEE Holding, where he played a key role in scaling The Sustainable City model globally. Dr. Radaideh served as Minister of Environment of Jordan (2021–2025) and as a member of the Advisory Council to the COP28 Presidency. He holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Brigham Young University.
Wassim Adlouni
Board Member & Executive Director, SEE Holding
Engineer Wassim Adlouni is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 40 years of experience in architecture, engineering, and real estate development. He has successfully led major projects, including founding Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants and co-founding Diamond Developers, playing a pivotal role in shaping sustainable and innovative developments in Dubai.
Ismat Abubaker
Chief Executive Officer, SEE Engineering
Engineer Ismat Abubaker is the CEO of SEE Engineering and a key leader at SEE Holding. With decades of expertise in civil engineering, he drives sustainable infrastructure projects globally. Previously the CEO of JEET Construction, he now oversees all entities under SEE Engineering, including JEET MEP, JEET FitOut, JEET Trading, and City Solar.
Amjad Hariz
Chief Executive Officer, SEE Developers
Engineer Amjad Hariz leads SEE Developers with over 20 years of experience in the engineering & construction industry. He focuses on expanding SEE Developers’ portfolio and replicating The Sustainable City models globally through strategic partnerships. Hariz has successfully overseen landmark projects in Dubai, including Arabian Ranches, Villanova, and Emirates Hills.
Samer Wahbeh
Chief Investment & Chief Financial Officer, SEE Holding
Samer Wahbeh brings over 25 years of executive experience across real estate, education, healthcare, and financial services, specializing in strategic leadership, business transformation, and investment management. He holds advanced degrees from Cambridge and LSE, and professional certifications including CFA, CMA, and CPA, making him a key leader in driving SEE Holding’s financial and investment strategies.
F. Jacob Cherian
Chief of International Business
F. Jacob Cherian brings over two decades of experience in investment capital, international transactions, and strategic advising. He has held leadership roles at JP Morgan, KPMG, and Computer Sciences Corp., and was CEO of three NASDAQ-listed companies. At SEE Holding, he oversees global expansion and drives strategic growth and operational excellence.
Hadeel Ahmed
Chief Communications Officer, SEE Holding
Hadeel Ahmed is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in radio, TV, and digital platforms. She played a key role in establishing major media channels like Rotana, and Mix FM and led award-winning campaigns for global brands like Coca-Cola and IKEA. Since 2015, she has been leading corporate communications at SEE Holding, driving strategic growth and success
Mohammed Al Bayatie
Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, SEE Holding
With extensive experience in legal strategy, compliance, and cross-border transactions, Mohammed Al Bayatie oversees the legal and compliance functions at SEE Holding. He has led legal teams at Al Ghurair Properties and Union Properties PJSC, and holds a degree in General Law, along with certifications from Harvard and Pennsylvania University.

Ihab Ismail leads technology strategy as Chief Information Officer at SEE Holding, overseeing IT security, strategy, and infrastructure. With a strong background in IT security, digital transformation, and advanced analytics. Previously, Ismail held key roles in consulting and banking, enhancing business growth through digital strategies.
